Craft Fair

🌟 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for last week’s Tall Timbers Craft Fair & Burger Truck event! 🌟

This awesome gathering happened thanks to our amazing neighbor Debbie Gleason, who championed the idea of creating a space where neighbors could share their hobbies and talents. What a fantastic idea, Debbie! 🙌

We were blown away by the creativity in our community:

  • Debbie Gleason – shared her Hurry Back Creations collection of fragrant handmade goat milk soaps, jewelry, ornaments, and more

  • Clinton James – displayed his Woodworking on the James creations of sleek woodworking pieces (plant stands, trays, boards, cigar rests, and more!) and chatted with neighbors about his passion for building custom furniture

  • Mia Conrad – our youngest crafter (age 9!), hosted Mia’s Miscellaneous with hand-painted pieces, friendship bracelets crafted on demand, and baked goodies (wow, Mia!)

  • Misty Proffitt + her mom and sister – showcased Junk in the Trunk Crafts & Treasures full of crafts, book bags, signs, jewelry, and handmade Halloween décor

  • Kirsten & Subash’s family – shared tons of cute and quirky 3D-printed alligators, spiderwebs, wine bottle holders, and other creative pieces with their 3D Printed Toys & Décor set up.

  • Tyler & Abigail Brunett – brought their River City Craftworks creations of holiday woodworks, cutting boards, trays, signs, and even hand-painted and crocheted Halloween décor

A special thank you also goes to:

  • 📸 Larry Thompson & Rich Hackman for beautifully capturing the event in photos.

  • 🎵 Jason Phillips for bringing the music and for donating all the free drinks in a pinch (cooler and all) once we found out the truck forgot them.

  • 🪑 Wesley Shaw for lending us his communal table and chairs so we had a space for people to sit and eat their burgers.

  • 🎈 Little Leo (age 4!) for his incredible help making signs and hanging balloons at the neighborhood entrance to draw people in—you’re never too young to help build community!

And of course, big cheers to Roy’s Big Burger Truck 🍔 for coming back for their third visit and bringing their energy (and delicious food!) again!

👏👏👏 Most importantly, thank YOU to all the neighbors who showed up—over 200 people came through to eat, shop, and laugh together! That kind of turnout shows exactly what makes Tall Timbers so special: neighbors showing up for each other, supporting local creativity, and building community.

Can’t wait for the next one! 💛
